The Decision Single Dad Support Group Piper Scott Books Reviews

  • I am a big fan of Mr. Scott. When I saw the series title I was a bit sceptical. Mr. S has a way with S/M stories that makes you sweat in a good way so I couldn’t imagine how he’d present a wayward group of single dads that would be appealing but I was wrong.

His characters are loveable and sexy and strong. Whether you like omegas or alphas, there is someone in SDSG you will love.

@LoveHarley gets his HEA after much family strife and a few scares. The sex is messy and oh so hot and Simon is way stronger (and kinkier) than even I’d imagined.

The importance of family & enjoying everything life throws at us (good and bad) plays big in this story. It was a pleasure to read and I can’t wait for Fiji and @KnotMyProblem’s HEA.
  • I can start adulting now since I finished this book in all its wonderful glory but that means I have to work. Why isn't there more?? I loved this book from the first word to the last tear (happy tears, I promise)! Glitter wars commence! I cant wait for the next one...
  • Just like the other books in this series, I love this book! The Single Dad's group grows and even though I think Evie was a spoiler brat who kind of trampled on everyone's feelings and let her dad pick up the pieces I still loved Harley and Simon! Definitely a must read!
  • This one is full of surprises. There's a fantasy come true, there's two families in the midst of drama and yes we also have a couple of villians. It has everything.
  • Really fun book. This series is really great. I hope Knot finds his S.O. soon, so the whole sea foam horse thing doesn't come to pass.
  • disappointed with this series
  • I received an ARC of this from LesCourt Author Services. This is my honest opinion and review.

I loved this book and I will be buying my own copy on payday. Simon and Harlow are great together. They have worked together for a few years and yet they had never met in person until now. When Simon helps Harlow, he didn't realize the pain that would befall upon him during their first time meeting.

Harlow can't believe what is going on in his life right now and he can't get over how wonderful the "kid" is. He never thought about his tech guy, but now he is always on his mind.

Once they have a taste of each other they don't want to let go, but when life pulls them apart will the distance be their downfall?

These two are wonderful together. They fill in each other's missing pieces. They help with Evie and Shep too. Evie and Shep are the whole cause of this story and make for a compelling story and add that nice little bit of something extra to this story.

I'm excited to see Jayne bring new blood to the SDSG and give Knot a taste of his own medicine. I'm interested in his background and how things will work for him. Simon is his only support so it is great when Harlow adds him to the group.

While this can be read as a standalone, I highly suggest that you read the previous books to get the most enjoyment from this story.
  • First off, I need to go back and read the other books in this series as I want to learn about the other guys in the group. This book can be read as a stand-alone in my opinion as I didn’t feel lost and we really don’t see the other guys, just chats in the forum. I love the nod to the characters from Firefly. I didn’t catch on at first. Okay Harlow’s daughter decides to change her path in life and give up acting. What I didn’t understand is any she didn’t confide in her father, they are pretty close, but just takes off. Then again Harlow doesn’t really act like a father and puts his foot down and makes rules. But he does love his daughter and backs her up in whatever she does. Simon, sweet sweet Simon. I loved him so much. I just wanted to give him a big hug and tell him that he is worthy of love. Now Simon has worked with Harlow off and on for several years but Harlow has never meet Simon. Simon most definitely knows who Harlow is and has been crushing on him for years. Their first encounter is kind of rough, based on a serious misunderstanding. Harlow and Evie end up staying with the brothers and during that time, Harlow and Simon fall for each other. It’s not instalove perse, but it was pretty quick. They end up making a great couple and I can’t wait to see them settle down and creat a family together. I’m not leaving Evie out but she is 16 and will forging her own life soon. I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait for the next book as it is Jayne’s story and I’m thinking that Knot, not his real name, may be his love interest, but you never know.
