Learn Spanish with Paul Noble Complete Course Spanish Made Easy with Your Personal Language Coach Audible Audio Edition Paul Noble HarperCollins Publishers Limited Books Reviews

  • Love Paul's method of teaching. Repetitive enough but not TOO much. I listen to it in the car. He's got a very pleasant voice, and I enjoy his British accent. He teaches both the Latin and Castillion versions of Spanish in the same lesson. Easy to learn and fun! I've recommended to many friends. I've purchased a lot of other Spanish teaching aids, including apps, books, Cd's etc and this is by far the best & easiest to learn. The others including the famous Rosetta Stone versions are just boring and I tended to toss them aside. This was reasonably priced. I believe there were 16 discs included. I hope he makes more, as I would like to continue learning with Paul Noble. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Buy this - you won't regret it!
  • Unfortunately I am not a big audio person; especially in my vehicle where I play it (not even music). So I have not made it through ... most ... of it yet. The reason for the 5 stars is the way he presents the learning process. I’ve primarily understood spanish while hearing conversations, yet I couldn’t speak it as well. I even took a class once to learn how to actually spell/write the words I already knew. In this audio, not only is he teaching you “Spanish”, he is overall teaching you how to understand & properly use the Spanish language. I have found this to be a huge benefit due to the variations of the different cultures dialog. On a personal side of this I know it’ll take me some time to get through all of it because of liking my quiet vehicle time, but I’m confident in his process from large amount I’ve comprehended in the small amount that I’ve listened to.
  • This is really great! I listen to this on my way to work and back home. I have learned a lot very quickly. I bought this product to help me communicate with clients and co workers and I am really catching on quickly to the Spanish language. I would definitely recommend. I am 44 and thought it would be difficult if not impossible for me to learn another language but this product has proven me wrong. I would definitely recommend if you are serious about learning a new language.
  • Awesome approach, diving right in to everyday conversational verbs and topics that allow you to quickly speak some real Spanish and build confidence. After three CDs of another product I came home and told my kids at the dinner table in Spanish, "I drink milk". After 3rd Noble CD I told them "I have prepared dinner for you and you have to eat the chicken"
  • I love it when my wife comes downstairs and shares her recent lesson(s). As an Argentine, I truly appreciate that one of the speakers represents true Spaniard Castilian. The other speaker represents Spanish as is more common in the New World. Relevant topics are taught (credit cards, anyone?)
  • I really enjoyed this program. He built upon a foundation, starting from your very first Spanish word, and then all of a sudden you can speak a full sentence. Paul Noble has a pleasant (British) voice, and I especially liked the male native speaker because he enunciated well. I found that sometimes the woman rushed words together - which is probably accurately said (just like we do in English) - but makes it difficult to learn for a non-native speaker. But it wasn't too bad, she just did it sometimes. The constant input/output, which was really invented by Pimsleur, helps you simulate speaking a conversation. It is not exactly the same, but it's pretty close. I paired this with Memrise for the vocabulary, Collins Easy Grammar, and the Spotify Podcast called Accelerated Spanish. Next week, I plan to begin using some Skype services such as italki, Baseland, Spanishplusweb, or Rypeapp. The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five stars is because Paul Noble REALLY needed to give just a little bit extra pause after he asks for input and after the woman speaks. He really only gave the same pause as the length of time that the male speaker spoke - but for new learners, this won't be enough. For this reason, I had difficulty playing this in my car because I constantly needed to hit the pause button.
  • I drive a 2 hour commute on a daily basis. I was never a "good" second language student and only took some French in grade school and two years of Latin in high school. I was skeptical but hopeful about Paul's audio course. I couldn't believe it IT WORKS! I've only completed one CD (@ 1 hour) and I can already speak and understand some basic Spanish phrases and have learned almost 2,000 Spanish words. (Yes - there are several tricks to convert certain English words into Spanish words). I've replayed the first CD twice and am now comfortable in advancing to the next CD. I feel that I've already had more success learning Spanish with this one CD than I did learning French or Latin in 1-2 years at school. I'm looking forward to working on the second CD driving home tonight. I also wanted to quickly mention that other reviewers were critical of the author's decision to offer two different dialects of Spanish, one Latin American and one from Spain. I did not find the two dialects confusing. They are largely repetitive and help reinforce the correct words/pronunciation. As Paul mentioned, it's like learning English with two instructors one from America and one from Great Britain. 100% worth the investment.
  • Got as a gift and the person loves it and is learning Spanish at their own pace. They think this is a nice & easy system to use.
