When Ray bumps into Karissa and her daughter he can't stop thinking about her. They start seeing each other and he loves her daughter things seem to be looking up for Karissa. Until her daughter tells her that she saw daddy outside her school. Is her ex in town? Can Ray protect them all?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. - If you like mountain man romances, you will enjoy this book. The characters are interesting, well-developed and have chemistry. The story is interesting, well-written with a happily ever after. In addition to receiving an arc, I purchased the book for my collection.
- On the run from an abusive ex husband Karissa, her daughter and best friend from themselves in Jasper, a quiet mountain town. Both are looking for a new beginning. Ray is running away from the big city where is brother died as result of a car accident with a drink driver. Running into each other literally makes them both question what life holds for them. Entertaining.
- Karissa is new to town after running with her daughter Malorie, recently divorced a mean drink. Ray is living up on a mountain trying to escape his past. Karissa and Ray meet when they bump into one another in town. Sparks fly from that moment. But what will happen when her ex finds them? Will they get a HEA?
